Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract We are seeking a Pharmacist for a long-term acute care hospital (LTAC) opportunity in Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking for a stable weekday schedule while working in a patient-focused hospital environment. The facility is a small LTAC hospital with an average daily census of approximately 10 patients, offering a collaborative atmosphere and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care. Position Details ASAP Start 13+ Week Contract Assignment Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTAC) Monday - Friday Day Shift Schedule Competitive Weekly Pay Full-Time Benefits Available Responsibilities Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness Dispense medications in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care Monitor medication therapies and provide clinical recommendations Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations Maintain accurate patient medication records and documentation Assist with medication inventory management and pharmacy operations Support medication safety initiatives and quality assurance programs Provide drug information and consultation to healthcare staff Required Qualifications Active Virginia Pharmacist License Hospital pharmacy experience Strong clinical knowledge and medication management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently in a small hospital setting Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Preferred Qualifications Previous LTAC experience Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist seeking a consistent weekday schedule, a supportive clinical environment, and the chance to provide meaningful care in a specialized hospital setting. or reach out for further inquiry: 281-848-7419 Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled
