Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join their team starting ASAP. This contract opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist ready to contribute to a small hospital setting with a manageable patient census.
Responsibilities:
Manage and dispense medications accurately for approximately 10 patients per day Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes Monitor drug therapies and provide clinical recommendations as needed Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards Participate in medication management and inventory control
Qualifications:
Valid Virginia Pharmacist license required Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Schedule:
