As the Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacist for the Neurology Oncology Clinic , you'll be at the forefront of transforming outpatient cancer care through precision medication management and seamless care transitions.

What You'll Do:

Deliver expert medication therapy management for patients with complex neurologic malignancies in an ambulatory setting. Collaborate closely with neuro-oncology physicians, infusion center teams, and specialty pharmacy to optimize treatment outcomes. Support advanced therapies including oral oncolytics, immunotherapies, and investigational agents. Drive continuity of care across inpatient, outpatient, and infusion services—ensuring safe transitions and improved patient experience. Enhance UVA prescription capture through proactive engagement with UVA specialty and retail pharmacy services. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Bachelor's in Pharmacy or Pharm.

D. from an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy required .

Experience:

No experience required . PGY-1 residency or equivalent clinical experience preferred.

Licensure:

Virginia State Board of Pharmacy License or within 60 days of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required .

Job requires sitting for prolonged periods; Repetitive motion: typing. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull less than 20lbs. May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
