What qualifications you will need:
EXPERIENCE
Required- Effective communication skills are required. Effective written and verbal skills are required. Required
- Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheet software and pharmacy information systems. Required
- Interest/knowledge in pathophysiology, interpretation of diagnostic criteria, pharmacokinetics and pharmacotherapeutics in particular service.
Required:
Minimum 1 year hospital pharmacy experience AND one of the following OR two of the following: At least 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience Completion of 1 year (PGY1 or general practice)- residency/fellowship
BCPS EDUCATION
Required- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy at a college or university. Required
- Completion of two years of hospital pharmacy experience or an ASHP
- approved pharmacy residency program. Licensure/Certification Required
- Licensure by the Virginia State Board of Pharmacy by examination or reciprocity. Required
BLS & ACLS
(IF pediatric clinical pharmacy specialist, PALS will be substitute for ACLS).Preferred:
