The role is focused on ensuring accurate and timely medication dispensing through script verification. This position offers a consistent Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, with specific coverage dates available for vacation relief.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring patient safety Collaborate with nursing home staff to manage medication orders Utilize Point Click Care computer system for documentation and workflow Support pharmacy technicians (2 on-site) in medication distribution processes
Desired Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year recent pharmacy experience, preferably in a long-term care setting Active and clear Virginia pharmacist license Familiarity with Point Click Care or similar healthcare software Strong attention to detail and commitment to resident well-being
Work Schedule:
