Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire This Clinical Infusion Pharmacist opportunity focuses on home infusion services, providing specialized clinical oversight within a dynamic healthcare setting. The role is based in Seattle, WA, and offers a contract-to-hire engagement starting immediately, with an initial 13-week period.
Responsibilities:
Review and verify medication orders, ensuring accuracy, appropriateness, and regulatory compliance. Provide clinical oversight for infusion therapies, including specialty medications, biologics, antimicrobials, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), and compounded sterile preparations. Assess patient-specific therapy plans and monitor outcomes to optimize treatment effectiveness. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to support medication management and recommend therapy adjustments. Ensure adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws, accreditation standards, and internal policies.
Qualifications:
Licensed pharmacist in Washington State with a clear and active license. Minimum of 2 years clinical pharmacy experience; home infusion experience highly preferred. Proven expertise in clinical settings handling inpatient IV therapies, home infusion, TPN, vancomycin, biologics, and sterile compounding. Experience working with complex patients or rare disease populations is a significant advantage. Must be local to Seattle, WA, or willing to relocate.
Schedule/Hours:
