Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract Support specialty and oncology infusion pharmacy operations in Bellevue, WA, with a focus on accuracy, clinical expertise, and technician oversight. This contract role offers a Monday to Friday day shift schedule over a 16+ week assignment, starting ASAP. You will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and effective medication distribution while assisting with clinical inquiries and managing pharmacy technician activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify orders using Epic pharmacy system. Conduct final product verification checks to ensure accuracy. Respond to clinical questions and provide drug information support. Oversee and supervise pharmacy technician functions. Maintain compliance with USP 797 and USP 800 standards. May float to Seattle location as needed to support operations.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Active Washington State Pharmacist license. Experience in infusion or oncology pharmacy settings is highly preferred. Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system and Pyxis medication dispensing technology. Strong understanding of USP 797 and USP 800 guidelines. Ability to manage multiple tasks and function effectively in a dynamic environment.
Location:
Bellevue, WA (suburb of Seattle) May require occasional floating to Seattle location.
Schedule:
