Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire A Clinical Infusion Pharmacist position is available in Seattle, WA, specializing in home infusion therapies. This contract-to-hire opportunity begins ASAP with an initial 13-week assignment, offering the potential for permanent placement.
Responsibilities:
Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and regulatory compliance. Provide clinical oversight for infusion therapies, including specialty medications, biologics, antimicrobials, TPN, and compounded sterile preparations. Assess patient-specific therapy plans and monitor outcomes to optimize treatment effectiveness. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals on medication management and therapy recommendations. Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal pharmacy regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
Qualifications:
Licensed Pharmacist in Washington State with an active, clear license. Minimum of 2 years clinical pharmacy experience; home infusion experience highly preferred. Strong clinical background that includes inpatient care, IV therapies, home infusion, TPN, vancomycin monitoring, biologics, and sterile compounding. Experience working with complex patients and rare disease states is a significant advantage. Local to the Seattle area or able to commute reliably.
