Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire An opportunity is available for a Clinical Infusion Pharmacist specializing in home infusion therapies, located in Seattle, WA. This temp-to-hire position starts as a 13-week contract, with the potential for permanent placement. Key responsibilities include reviewing and verifying medication orders for accuracy and regulatory compliance, providing clinical oversight for infusion therapies involving specialty medications, biologics, antimicrobials, TPN, and compounded sterile preparations. The role involves assessing patient-specific therapy plans, monitoring outcomes to ensure treatment effectiveness, and collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication management and therapy recommendations. Ensuring adherence to state and federal pharmacy regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies is critical.
Qualifications and desired experience:
Must be local to Seattle, WA Active and clear Washington State Pharmacist license required Minimum of 2 years clinical pharmacy experience, preferably in home infusion Proven expertise with inpatient, IV, home infusion, TPN, vancomycin, biologics, and compounding activities is required Experience managing therapies for rare disease states and complex patients is a distinct plus This position offers a rewarding challenge for pharmacists with a clinical infusion background seeking to advance their career in a supportive and dynamic environment.
