Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A pharmacist position is available in Barron, WI, starting June 15th. This contract role offers a duration of 13 weeks with the possibility to extend. The schedule consists of 10-hour day shifts following a 7-on, 7-off rotation, providing an attractive work-life balance. Key responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with physicians and nursing staff, and performing pharmacokinetic assessments. The role involves utilizing Cerner pharmacy software to support clinical and operational functions effectively. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of inpatient pharmacy experience and be willing to obtain a Wisconsin temporary pharmacy license to meet state requirements. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment are essential.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year inpatient pharmacy experience Willingness to acquire Wisconsin temporary pharmacist license Proficiency with Cerner pharmacy systems preferred Strong clinical knowledge and ability to consult with healthcare providers
