Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacy operations and ensuring exceptional patient service. This position involves working closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to assist in medication administration and providing support. A strong understanding of medical terminology and pharmacy practices is essential for success in this role. Responsibilities Assist pharmacists with the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety protocols. Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and guiding patients through the medication process. Maintain organized records of prescriptions, medication inventory, and patient information to ensure efficient pharmacy operations. Uphold cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy area to maintain a safe working environment. Stay informed about new medications, medical terminology, and pharmacy regulations to enhance professional knowledge. Experience Previous experience in a pharmacy setting or as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with medication administration processes, particularly in acute or critical care environments, is highly desirable. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
