Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A 13-week+ contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacist in Marshfield, WI, at a 250-bed hospital facility. This position offers a dynamic and engaging work environment with a focus on hospital pharmacy practice. The ideal candidate will have or be willing to obtain an Act 10 temporary license to practice as a pharmacist in Wisconsin and possess hospital pharmacy experience.
Schedule:
7 days on, 7 days off rotation Rotating shifts between 2nd shift (12:00 PM to 10:00 PM) and 3rd shift (9:00 PM to 7:00 AM) Work weeks typically start on
Wednesday Key Responsibilities:
Accurately dispensing and verifying medications in a hospital setting using Cerner and Omnicell systems Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient medication management Performing clinical pharmacy duties including medication review and recommendations Maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements and hospital policies
Qualifications:
Licensed Pharmacist in Wisconsin or willingness to secure an Act 10 temporary license Prior hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred Proficiency with Cerner and Omnicell technology systems Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills This contract role offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive hospital environment with a thoughtful shift rotation designed to balance workload and recovery.
