Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity seeks experienced pharmacists to join a dynamic team supporting long-term care and mail order pharmacy services. The role focuses on maintaining high standards in medication dispensing, patient consultation, and pharmacy operations within a second shift schedule.

Monday - Friday, 2nd shift (1:00 pm - 9:30 pm), with some

Saturdays Duration:

8 weeks (2 openings available)

Responsibilities:

Accurately accept and dispense prescription medications in compliance with legal and safety standards Monitor patient medication adherence and identify over-usage trends Ensure medications prescribed meet regulatory and patient suitability requirements Maintain confidential patient records and pharmacy files with precision Counsel patients on medication use, possible reactions, and answer queries effectively Provide consultations on prescription and non-prescription drugs, including dosage, side effects, and interactions Deliver patient services such as smoking cessation support, blood pressure monitoring, and cholesterol management Educate patients on the use and care of medical devices like blood pressure monitors and glucose meters Compound sterile and non-sterile medications, following established procedures Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks to ensure smooth operations Manage pharmacy inventory and pharmaceutical supplies efficiently Collaborate with healthcare professionals to address drug-related patient issues

Qualifications:
