Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for an inpatient pharmacist to support a hospital setting with a focused 13-week assignment. This contract position requires dedication to patient care within an inpatient pharmacy, ensuring safe and effective medication management.
Location:
Pittsville, WI Schedule:
4x10-hour shifts per week Day shifts from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Rotating weekends Occasional evening assistance as required
Start Date:
April 22
Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient pharmacy services, including verifying and dispensing medications accurately Collaborate with healthcare teams in emergency and hospital inpatient settings Serve functions related to Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) duties and immunization services Support pharmacy operations to maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards Respond promptly to medication-related inquiries and emergencies within the inpatient and emergency room environment Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Licensed pharmacist with current credentials to practice Experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy and emergency room pharmacy preferred Skills in immunization administration a strong plus Ability to fulfill Pharmacist in Charge duties is advantageous Strong communication skills for multidisciplinary collaboration Adaptability to rotating schedules and variable shifts This contract assignment provides a dynamic work environment with opportunities to impact patient outcomes directly.
