Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A hospital-based pharmacy opportunity is available for a pharmacist ready to contribute to a 250-bed facility. This contract position offers a dynamic schedule with alternating 7-on, 7-off shifts. The role requires flexibility, working both second and third shifts, providing variety and balance.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in a hospital setting Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems for order verification, medication distribution, and documentation Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and pharmacologic therapies Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Monitor inventory and assist with medication management processes
Qualifications:
Licensed Pharmacist in Wisconsin or willingness to obtain the Act 10 temporary license Experience working in a hospital pharmacy environment preferred Proficiency with Cerner and Omnicell systems is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Ability to manage multiple priorities during varied shift hours
Schedule:
7 days on, 7 days off rotation Shifts alternate between 2nd shift (12:00 PM - 10:00 PM) and 3rd shift (9:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Typical workweek starts on Wednesday This position is a 13-week contract with potential for extension and requires starting as soon as possible. The role is based near Marshfield, WI, with work performed in a well-equipped hospital facility.
