Job Description

Wegner CPAS is proud to partner with an independently owned pharmacy in the Greater Madison, WI area! Pharmacist (Part-Time or Full-Time) Build a Career Focused on Patient Care, Not Corporate Metrics If you're looking for a pharmacy career that prioritizes meaningful patient relationships, professional growth, and work-life balance, we'd love to hear from you. We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist for either a part-time (10-15 hours per week) or full-time (up to 40 hours per week) position. Compensation is competitive and negotiable based on experience. A sign-on bonus is available after a six-month commitment. For candidates interested in long-term growth, partnership and ownership opportunities may also be available.
Schedule Pharmacy hours:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Saturday hours: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (every other Saturday with scheduling flexibility) Closed Sundays and major holidays Flexible scheduling options available based on employment status About Our Pharmacy We are a locally owned independent community pharmacy dedicated to personalized patient care.

Opportunities include:
One-on-one pharmacy management mentoring Exposure to independent pharmacy operations and specialized services not typically available in corporate settings Participation in Medication Therapy Management (MTM) and Comprehensive Medication Review (CMR) services Potential leadership, partnership, and ownership pathways Key Responsibilities Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and drug interactions Administer immunizations Supervise pharmacy technicians and support workflow management Perform non-sterile compounding as needed Assist with adherence packaging and unit-dose medication programs Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including HIPAA requirements Deliver exceptional patient-centered customer service Qualifications Active Wisconsin Pharmacist License in good standing Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree APhA Immunization Certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication and patient counseling skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced community pharmacy environment Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality patient care Previous pharmacy management experience is a plus Benefits (Applicable to Eligible Full-Time Employees) Competitive compensation Sign-on bonus Paid time off (PTO) Employee prescription and retail discounts Health Savings Account (HSA) contribution Retirement plan Healthcare and benefits guidance through a third-party advisor Professional development and advancement opportunities If you're passionate about patient care and want to practice pharmacy in an environment that values clinical judgment, professional autonomy, and community impact, we encourage you to apply.
