Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacist to provide expert pharmacy services at a healthcare facility in Rice Lake, WI. This position offers a dynamic 13-week contract assignment starting on 6/15, with the potential for extension beyond the initial duration.
Schedule:
10-hour day shifts 7 days on, 7 days off rotation
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth daily operations Consult with physicians and nurses to optimize patient medication therapies Apply pharmacokinetic principles to individualize drug dosing Utilize Cerner pharmacy software for documentation and workflow management
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience Willingness to obtain a Wisconsin Temporary Pharmacist License Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety This role provides the chance to work in a supportive environment while applying your clinical skills to improve patient outcomes.
