Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A pharmacy professional is needed to support a 250-bed hospital in Marshfield, WI. This pharmacist role offers a valuable opportunity to work within a dynamic healthcare setting using advanced systems such as Cerner and Omnicell. The position is ideal for licensed Wisconsin pharmacists or candidates willing to obtain an Act 10 temporary license, with prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately and safely, adhering to hospital protocols Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems to manage medication orders and inventory Monitor and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulatory standards Provide patient counseling and education as required
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Wisconsin Pharmacist license or willingness to obtain Act 10 temporary license Experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting Proficiency with Cerner and Omnicell preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Schedule:
7 days on, 7 days off rotation Shift rotation between 2nd shift (12:00 PM - 10:00 PM) and 3rd shift (9:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Work weeks typically begin on Wednesday This contract assignment extends for at least 13 weeks and requires availability to start as soon as possible. Candidates should be open to working alternating second and third shifts within the hospital's established schedule.
