Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire A clinical pharmacist role is available that requires strong expertise in intravenous (IV) therapies and sterile compounding. This contract-to-hire opportunity allows you to demonstrate your skills over a 6+ month period with the potential for a permanent position afterward. The ideal candidate will have recent hands-on experience mixing and verifying IV medications, particularly within a home infusion setting.
Location:
Sun Prairie, WI Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM (8-hour shifts) On call every 4th weekend and one night per week
Key Responsibilities:
Verify IV medication orders accurately and efficiently Prepare and mix IV medications in the clean room environment Perform other clinical pharmacist duties as assigned to support patient care
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active and clear Wisconsin pharmacist license Minimum of 2 years recent experience in sterile compounding Recent IV experience is essential CPR certification preferred Recent home infusion experience of 2+ years is a plus This position demands attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols in sterile compounding and IV preparation. Candidates must be ready to commit to the initial contract period before consideration for a permanent role.
