Job Description

Category Pharmacy•Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract Three Inpatient Pharmacists are needed for a 13-week contract assignment starting June 29 in Sun Prairie, WI. This opportunity supports a respected healthcare facility providing inpatient pharmacy services with a focus on acute care. Shift Options (all 5x 8-hour shifts, rotating every 3rd weekend):
Day Shift:
6:30 a.m.•3:00 p.m.
Mid Shift:
11:00 a.m.•7:30 p.m.
Evening Shift:
2:30 p.m.•11:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient setting with a strong emphasis on acute care management. Apply pharmacokinetic and renal dosing principles in medication optimization. Manage therapeutic drug monitoring and address drug shortages effectively. Provide pharmacotherapy interventions for complex medical conditions. Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system to document and communicate clinical decisions.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient pharmacy experience required. Proficient in pharmacokinetic dosing, renal dosing protocols, and therapeutic drug monitoring. Experience with drug shortage management and pharmacotherapy in acute care environments. Licensed pharmacists in Wisconsin with an ACT-10 license are eligible to apply. Successful fit testing for mask use is mandatory; travelers must be clean-shaven for proper seal testing. Use of CAPRs/PAPRs is not permitted.
