Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A healthcare facility in the Madison, WI area is seeking three experienced inpatient pharmacists for a 13-week contract starting May 11. This role requires a solid background in clinical pharmacy practice within an acute care setting.

Responsibilities:

Manage inpatient medication use, including pharmacokinetic and renal dosing adjustments. Conduct therapeutic monitoring to optimize patient outcomes. Address drug shortages effectively and assist in pharmacotherapy management for various medical conditions. Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation and order verification. Work a rotation of 5 eight-hour shifts per week, alternating between day (6:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.) and evening (2:30 p.m. - 11 p.m.) shifts, with every third weekend on call.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient pharmacy experience in an acute care environment. Valid Wisconsin pharmacist license; ACT-10 licenses are accepted. Knowledge and experience with pharmacokinetic dosing, renal adjustment, and therapeutic medication monitoring. Ability to comply with facility-specific safety protocols, including shaving for mask fit testing (CAPRs and PAPRs are not permitted). Willingness to travel; candidates residing within 70 miles of the facility will not be considered.

Scrubs will be provided on-site. This position is open exclusively to pharmacy professionals ready to travel to this location. Candidates must meet fit-testing requirements due to strict mask policies at the facility.
