Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract Provide expert pharmaceutical care at a 25-bed critical access hospital in Warrens, WI. This contract opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with experience supporting diverse clinical areas including Emergency Room, Labor & Delivery, and Medical-Surgical units. The facility manages an average daily census of 10-12 patients, with minimal oncology involvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately and safely utilizing Pyxis systems. Collaborate with healthcare teams in ER, L&D, and Med Surg departments. Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and medication order verification. Participate in medication management and support clinical protocols to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Active pharmacy license and credentials. Experience with Cerner EMR and Pyxis automated dispensing systems preferred. Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment with critical access patient volume. Ability to cover on a rotational schedule with 7 consecutive days on and 7 days off.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday:
5:30 AM to 4:00
PM Saturday-Sunday:
5:30 AM to 2:00

July 6th for the first rotation

13 weeks or longer as needed
