Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Travel A travel pharmacist opportunity is available in Wisconsin at a 100-bed hospital facility. This position offers a chance to utilize your hospital pharmacy skills in a dynamic healthcare environment, supporting patient care through expert medication management and collaboration with medical staff. The facility uses Cerner and Omnicell systems, providing a modern platform for pharmacy operations.
Location:
Weston, WI Schedule:
Variable days and afternoon shifts, 8-hour shifts
Assignment Duration:
13 weeks or longer
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense medications and ensure compliance with hospital protocols. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication therapy. Utilize Cerner and Omnicell technology to manage medication orders and inventory. Maintain clear and accurate documentation of pharmaceutical activities. Provide consultative services and education to medical staff and patients as needed.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist in Wisconsin or willingness to obtain an Act 10 temporary license. Previous hospital pharmacy experience is highly preferred. Proficient with pharmacy information systems, especially Cerner and Omnicell, is a plus. Strong communication and organizational skills to adapt to variable shifts and workflow demands.
