Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a small 40-bed hospital in Northern Central Wisconsin. This contract position offers a dynamic role in a central inpatient pharmacy setting, providing care in diverse departments such as Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, outpatient oncology, emergency department, and surgical units.

ASAP Schedule Options:
Four 10-hour day shifts per week (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.) with rotating weekends Alternatively, a 7-on/7-off day shift block schedule may be accommodated
Key Responsibilities:
Verify EPIC orders and ensure accuracy of medication distribution Oversee technician work and respond to pharmacist phone inquiries Manage inpatient and outpatient IV preparations, unit dose medications, and outpatient chemotherapy Handle a typical inpatient census of 30-40 patients with various care needs
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Licensed Pharmacist with experience in hospital pharmacy operations Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced inpatient environment Expertise in handling medications across multiple specialties, including oncology and critical care This position offers an excellent chance to work in a small community hospital with varied clinical exposure.
