Job Description

Pharmacist - Independent Compounding Evanston, WY An established independent pharmacy in Evanston, Wyoming is hiring a full-time Staff Pharmacist to support both retail dispensing and non-sterile compounding operations. The pharmacy serves a community patient base with strong technician support and a patient-centered practice model. This is a hands-on clinical role with a path toward expanded compounding responsibilities over time. Schedule Full-time, 30 to 40 hours per week. Flexible scheduling available. Compensation $62 - $70 Per Hour. Commensurate with experience. Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates. What You'll Do As the Staff Pharmacist, you will oversee retail dispensing operations, verify and dispense prescriptions accurately, and counsel patients on medications, interactions, and adherence. You will work closely with pharmacy technicians, providing direction and quality oversight throughout the dispensing workflow. You will also receive training in non-sterile compounding and take on increasing compounding responsibilities as your skills develop. This includes preparation of compounded medications in accordance with USP standards and applicable state and federal regulations. Documentation, quality checks, and compliance with Wyoming Board of Pharmacy requirements are ongoing responsibilities of the role. Patient relationship management is central to this position. You will work directly with patients and prescribers, resolving medication-related questions, coordinating refills, and supporting continuity of care for the pharmacy's patient population. Required Qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.

D.) degree from an ACPE-accredited program Active Pharmacist license in Wyoming, or eligibility to obtain Wyoming licensure prior to start date Strong retail pharmacy dispensing experience Ability to counsel patients and communicate effectively with prescribers Familiarity with pharmacy management and dispensing software Preferred Qualifications Experience with non-sterile compounding in a retail or independent pharmacy setting Familiarity with USP 795 guidelines Experience in an independent pharmacy environment Active licensure in Utah or other western states (helpful for candidates relocating from the SLC area) Experience with pharmacy benefit management (PBM) adjudication and prior authorizations Compensation and Benefits Competitive base salary commensurate with experience Relocation assistance available Performance bonus opportunity Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid time off and paid holidays Flexible scheduling To apply, submit your resume through this posting.
