Job Summary:
Regis University School of Pharmacy (RUSOP) invites applications for the Assistant Director of Experiential Education. Applicants at the assistant, associate, or full professor rank are invited to apply for this full-time, 12-month appointment. Qualified individuals must have an earned PharmD. Experience as a practicing pharmacist is highly desirable. This position will serve as a faculty member within the experiential curriculum as well as the Assistant Director for the Office of Experiential Education. The Assistant Director shares responsibility for the development, management, and assessment of introductory and advances pharmacy practice components of the curriculum. The Assistant Director is also responsible for developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with School of Pharmacy faculty, staff, students and preceptors, in order to recruit, develop and maintain high quality experiential sites and preceptors for the program. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: managing daily program operations, serving as a liaison for preceptors and practice sites, responding to student and preceptor concerns and requests, administering and managing the experiential education database (CORE-ELMS), developing and maintaining a comprehensive communications infrastructure for the experiential education program, teaching experiential education courses including preparation for licensure exams and practice-ready graduates, and working with School administration to maintain student records and ensure all programmatic requirements are met.Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Recruit sites and preceptors for student placements. Maintain site/preceptor relationships to ensure the availability of these opportunities for future students. Conduct preceptor development through innovative programs and coordinate the education of preceptors around experiential learning. Evaluate the effectiveness of various experiential programs, and recommend and implement improvements. Provide general operational and administrative support for the experiential program including but not limited to student compliance. Assist users, operate, and maintain knowledge of experiential education platforms such as CORE-ELMS, myClinicalExchange, Complio, CEImpact among others. Navigate and use ExamSoft, CORE, WorldClass WebAdvisor and potentially other software/sites to enter and keep record of student grades, while maintaining compliance with FERPA. Distribute and collect all student and preceptor evaluations of experiential education sites and summarizes data in clear reports. Assist with the interpretation of evaluation results, reporting trends and observations as appropriate. Present results of evaluations at appropriate meetings, including preceptor development functions and other occasions as requested.Teaching:
Teach introductory and advanced experiential courses as assigned, as well as additional courses outside of the experiential curriculum as necessary and in-line with credentials, experience, and interest areas, all within a highly integrated curriculum. Additional courses may include, but are not limited to, courses such as Integrated Lab and Integrated Pharmacotherapy.Scholarship:
Establish and maintain a scholarly agenda. Collaborate with faculty, clinicians, and students on research projects and publications. Pursue internal and external funding opportunities to support scholarly agenda.Service:
Contribute service to the School, College, University, Profession, and Community. Engage in professional organizations and maintain licensure and certifications relevant to practice.Minimum Qualifications:
