Job Description

Are you ready for the future of healthcare? We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to support our Pharmacy Lead with daily in-office operations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, efficient, and enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced modern healthcare environment. You'll be a success if you : Have experience in fast-paced, service environment Pay attention to detail, highly organized, and can offer and accept help when called for Are excited to help re-invent the standard of healthcare Have great interpersonal communication skills with exceptional listening abilities Have great written communication skills Clinical Functions (may include, but not limited to): Submitting prescriptions to private/retail pharmacies Instructing patients about dosing, side effects, and intended use of medications Keeping patients up to date on their prescription and supplement refills Administrative Functions (may include, but not limited to): Using computer applications Answering telephones Updating patient medical records Handling patient correspondence and billing In office fulfillment and shipping of orders Key Responsibilities Register patient tests and ensure accurate data entry Assist with in-office order fulfillment and preparation Assemble and organize testing kits and welcome kits Maintain accurate inventory counts of pharmacy and office supplies Place and track supply orders to ensure adequate stock levels Receive, unpack, and properly store shipments Keep pharmacy workspace clean, organized, and compliant Assist with general operational tasks as needed to support pharmacy workflow
Qualifications:
Pharmacy Tech experience Must live within 30 minute drive of our Sarasota location. Do not apply otherwise . High school diploma or GED (required) Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and other external parties in a courteous and friendly manner at all times Must be detail-oriented and highly organized Firm grasp on medical practices, administrative processes, and organizational policies Experience with EMR systems Strong technology skills
Pay:
