Assistant Professor, Clinical, College of Pharmacy Department:
Pharmacy | Practice and Science Clinical faculty (regardless of rank) - faculty positions within the university that are not tenure track and not eligible for tenure; on a fixed term contract. Persons with the title of professor-clinical, associate professor-clinical, assistant professor-clinical and instructor-clinical. Duties and responsibilities are assigned in accordance with the workload guidelines laid out in the pattern of administration of each faculty department and, as appropriate, regional campus; Clinical faculty are teacher/practitioners and will be engaged primarily in teaching activities. These faculty normally have earned doctorate or other terminal degree in the relevant field or equivalent experience.Additional Information:
Duties:
teaching required and elective pharmacy courses within the Doctor of Pharmacy and Bachelors of Pharmaceutical Sciences programs as instructor and preceptor; service with The Ohio State University Extension; leading and serving as collaborator on projects to achieve goals that align with improving the health and well-being of citizens of the state of Ohio; project planning and implementation; work to improve connectivity between OSU Extension Educators in counties across the state and in community-based pharmacies and pharmacists; contribute to initiatives of the Ohio Pharmacists Association that promote and facilitate the advancement of pharmacy practice and pharmacists as providers of care with a focus in public health initiatives and connectivity; scholarship focused on disseminating outcomes related to community engaged practice and teaching and learning as well as improvement in metrics related to pharmacy practice advancement.Requirements:
