Founded in 1868, Hampton University is a leading historically black university (HBCU) located on the Virginia Peninsula in the City of Hampton. Hampton University School of Pharmacy (HUSOP) was granted Pre-Candidate Status for the Doctor of Pharmacy program by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) Board of Directors in January 2024. The school has successfully matriculated its first PharmD cohort in the Fall of 2024. HUSOP is currently seeking Candidate Status from the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) for its Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program. An onsite review of the school is scheduled for April 2025. The School currently offers the Bachelors of Science in Pharmaceutical Science degree, along with minors in Pharmaceutical Science, Environmental Health Science, and Public Health. Position:
Teaching Establish a clinical pharmacy practice for experiential training of 4 th Year PharmD students for APPEs. Coordinate courses in the PharmD curriculum. Provide instruction in other pharmacy courses as assigned, including the use of Canvas and ExamSoft to deliver instructional materials. Scholarly activities Develop and deliver innovative educational curriculum related to pharmacotherapy. Enhance instructional materials for use within courses. Publish a minimum of one peer-reviewed article, or comparable activity, per year. Service Serve on College/University/Professional committees. Contribute to the University's commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. Comply with all the duties and responsibilities associated with being a Hampton University faculty member.Qualifications:
