Summary of Job Duties:
The Assistant Director of Pharmacy for P&T and Formulary Management provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the health system's Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) Committee and the broader formulary system. This role helps ensure that the medication-use process is safe, evidence-based, and cost-effective. The manager leads the development of pharmacy policies, coordinates medication-use evaluations (MUEs), and supports the implementation of policy and formulary changes.Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree or PharmD, plus 6 years of applicable experience, including 2 years of progressively responsible experience related to pharmacy management (PGY1 and PGY2 residency both equate to 3 years of experience) Licensed Registered Pharmacist by the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy Advanced proficiency in literature evaluation and biostatistics. Strong project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication for presenting to medical staff leadership. Knowledge of FOCUS-PDCA or similar quality improvement methodologies.Preferred Qualifications :
