Summary The Manager Clinical Pharmacy Services is a key member of the pharmacy leadership team, providing oversight for clinical pharmacy operations while leading a team of specialized pharmacists within assigned pharmacy programs and service areas. This position works under the strategic direction of the Director Clinical Pharmacy and is responsible for the day-to-day management of specific clinical pharmacy services within their designated scope of practice. Separate Clinical Pharmacy Manager positions will be utilized to cover and have responsibility for distinct programs or service areas (e.g., BMT-CI, malignant hematology, medical oncology, etc.) The manager ensures delivery of evidence-based, patient-centered pharmaceutical care while maintaining operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and quality standards within their assigned area of responsibility.
Minimum Required:
Minimum of two (2) years of leadership, supervisory, or project management experience. Demonstrated experience in the specific clinical area of assigned responsibility Bachelor's Degree (must be in Pharmacy if not Pharm D qualified) Licensed Pharmacist (RPh/ PS) Completion of a PGY-2 Pharmacy Residency in area of specializationOR PGY-1
residency AND a minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience as a clinical pharmacist in a comprehensive academic setting OR 8 years of progressive experience as a clinical pharmacist in a comprehensive academic setting with significant time practicing in applicable specialty area. Essential Function:
Provide operational and leadership and clinical management for assigned clinical pharmacy programs and service areas Lead, develop, and manage clinical pharmacy staff assigned to specific clinical programs and service areas Ensure safe, effective, and high-quality pharmaceutical care delivery within assigned program areas Facilitate integration of assigned pharmacy services into multidisciplinary care teams and clinical workflows Optimize use of technology and clinical processes within assigned pharmacy service areas Manage financial and operational resources efficiently within assigned program areas Salary Range $175,145.19 - $262,600.00 Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
