Per Diem Retail Immunizing Staff Pharmacist | Chandler, Arizona Soliant - 3.9 Chandler, AZ Job Details Part-time | Per diem 12 hours ago Qualifications Licensed Pharmacist (State-Specific) Doctor of Pharmacy Licensed Pharmacist Full Job Description Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Support pharmacy operations as a per diem pharmacist, providing reliable coverage for call-outs, vacations, and volume fluctuations across a group of retail pharmacy locations in the Chandler, AZ area. This role requires flexibility and readiness to fill shifts when needed, helping maintain smooth and efficient pharmacy services.
Responsibilities:
Deliver professional pharmacist services during pharmacy operational hours, Monday through Saturday, typically from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with some locations open until 8 p.m. Manage prescription volume averaging 100-125 prescriptions per day. Utilize QS1 pharmacy system to process prescriptions and maintain accurate records. Administer immunizations according to state regulations, holding valid immunization privileges. Participate in required training sessions, including an initial 8-hour dedicated training shift. Collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians and adapt to smaller sites requiring pharmacist-only practice. Maintain current BLS certification. Be prepared to provide coverage on a part-time basis, ideally 2-4 days per week. Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred. Valid, unrestricted Arizona pharmacist license. Immunization privileges and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy system advantageous. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently. Flexibility to travel within the Phoenix area; some travel expenses covered.
Schedule/Hours:
Monday to Saturday, primarily daytime shifts between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., with some potential later shifts until 8 p.m. Per diem position with no guaranteed hours; candidates should be available for intermittent assignments.
