Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Pharmacy Manager, where you will lead and oversee pharmacy operations with enthusiasm and expertise. Duties Lead the pharmacy team to deliver outstanding patient service while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy. Oversee medication dispensing, compounding medications, and IV infusion preparations using aseptic techniques. Manage inventory levels efficiently, ensuring proper stock rotation and compliance with storage protocols. Utilize pharmacy software and electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions, medication histories, and medical management plans. Conduct patient assessments for medication therapy management, including pediatrics and critical care cases. Implement immunization programs and provide immunizations following medical guidelines and HIPAA regulations. Supervise pharmacy technicians, providing training on pharmacy operations, medication administration, and medical terminology. Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements related to HIPAA, acute care standards, and hospital policies. Experience Proven experience in a pharmacy setting with strong clinical pharmacy background; hospital or infusion centers preferred though not required Knowledge of compounding medications using aseptic techniques and handling IV insertions or infusions confidently. Strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and medication administration protocols. Experience with inventory management systems and medication safety practices in hospital or outpatient settings. Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations while delivering exceptional patient care.
