This contract position begins in the last week of August and is expected to last approximately 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense prescription medications and ensure proper documentation Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations Manage inventory and ensure availability of necessary medications Provide exceptional customer service in a retail setting

Qualifications:

Valid pharmacist license to practice in California Previous experience as a retail pharmacist with strong prescription dispensing skills Excellent communication and patient counseling abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Schedule:
