Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacy professional to take on a leadership role within a dynamic healthcare setting in Shafter, CA. This position offers a rewarding challenge for someone with a strong background in pharmacy management and operations, ideally suited for a Pharmacy Manager, Director of Pharmacy, or Pharmacist ready to make an impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Lead and mentor pharmacy staff to deliver exceptional patient care and service Manage medication dispensing, inventory control, and secure handling of pharmaceuticals Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and improve patient outcomes Implement policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency and safety standards Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and manage budgeting within the pharmacy department
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Licensed Pharmacist with substantial supervisory or management experience Demonstrated expertise in pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with clinicians Proficiency in pharmacy software and inventory management systems Commitment to patient care excellence and continuous improvement
