Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A healthcare facility in Denver, CO is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support their retail pharmacy operations on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pharmacy technician duties, including prescription processing and customer service within a retail setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist Manage prescription processing, including verifying patient information and entering data into the pharmacy system Provide knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering questions regarding medications and usage Maintain inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure proper labeling and storage of medications Adhere strictly to all safety, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements within the pharmacy setting
Desired Qualifications:
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required Proven experience working as a pharmacy technician in a retail environment Comprehensive understanding of pharmacy terminology, medication names, and prescription processing Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach Ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
