The Pharmacy Clinical Manager is responsible for designing, implementing and managing the pharmacy clinical programs. This includes formulary management, policy and procedure development and education across the healthcare spectrum. The Clinical Manager shall also assist in managing the pharmacy when the Pharmacy Director is unavailable. - We take personal pride in exceeding expectations DUTIES (included but not limited to): Interpret orders and transcribes or verifies them accurately and efficiently into the pharmacy computer system Accurately compound and dispense pharmaceuticals Monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications, drug-drug interactions, drug-food interactions, allergies and appropriateness of drug and dose Provide clinical consultation and clarification to practitioners.
Position Requirements:
A.Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Current licensure by the Colorado Board of Pharmacy as a registered Pharmacist. BLS and ACLS required within first 2 months of employment. B.Education:
B.S. or Doctorate of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) C.
Experience:
(At least one of the following): o Minimum of 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience o Completion of hospital PGY2/ pharmacy general practice residency or fellowship. o Specialty BCPS certification. o Other certification (e.g.FCCP, FASHP
). D.Special Qualifications:
