HIV/AIDS
patient population in a retail community pharmacy setting. The role requires a compassionate, respectful, and non-judgmental approach to patient care, ensuring trust and effective communication between pharmacist and patients managing sensitive health needs.
Location:
Kissimmee, FL (also opportunity for coverage in Plantation and nearby areas)
Schedule:
Per diem shifts available, including upcoming date Thursday, 7/30, 8:30 am•5:30 pm at the Plantation location
Operations:
Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am•5:30 pm; Friday, 8:30 am•12:30 pm; no weekend shifts
Responsibilities:
Dispense specialty
HIV/AIDS
medications accurately and efficiently Provide high-level patient care, support, and counseling tailored to the needs of an infectious disease population Collaborate closely with healthcare providers and pharmacy team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes Demonstrate pharmacy intuition by proactively identifying and addressing pharmacy duties and workflow needs Maintain respectful, empathetic communication that fosters patient trust and confidence
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
1-2 years of retail or specialty experience dispensing HIV/AIDS-related medications (must be clearly stated on resume) Proficient with QS1 pharmacy management software Licensed pharmacist in Florida Commitment to reliability, punctuality, and professionalism Strong teamwork, communication skills, and positive attitude
