Interim Director of Pharmacy / PIC /
Pharmacy Consultant Location:
West Palm Beach, FL Pay Rate:
$85.00/hour (Depending on Experience)
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM / 5:00 PM ( No Weekend Coverage Required ) Rx relief is seeking an experienced, high-caliber Interim Director of Pharmacy (DOP) / Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) / Pharmacy Consultant for an acute care healthcare facility near West Palm Beach, FL. This position offers a steady daytime schedule with zero weekend shifts and full on-site staff training on facility software. Core Responsibilities Provide comprehensive pharmacy leadership and operational oversight. Lead upcoming The Joint Commission (TJC) survey preparations scheduled for this fall. Work and manage Corporate Performance Assessments (CPA). Oversee pharmacy policy development, implementation, and compliance. Manage 340B program oversight across facility operations. Provide limited operational staffing support when necessary (pharmacy technicians typically handle sterile compounding workflows).
Position Requirements Licensure:
Active, unencumbered Florida Pharmacist License AND Florida Consultant Pharmacist License (both required).
Experience:
3+ years of pharmacy management experience in an inpatient hospital setting.
Clinical Skills:
Inpatient operations, IV/sterile compounding knowledge, and TJC regulatory standards expertise.
Dress Code:
Normal business attire.
Compensation / Pay
Rate (Up to): $176,800.00 Per Year
