Per Diem Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy - Decatur, Georgia

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist - Retail Job Type Per Diem Support a group of independently owned retail pharmacies as a Per Diem pharmacist serving multiple locations within the Atlanta metro area. This role starts as PRN coverage for one site with potential growth into a floater position covering up to 30-35 hours per week across four pharmacies. Responsibilities include managing daily retail pharmacy operations with an average volume of 100-150 prescriptions per day. Key duties involve dispensing medications, counseling patients, handling specialty medications, and preparing packaging for delivery via mail and courier services. Comprehensive use of PrimeRX software is preferred to facilitate workflow and accuracy.

Schedule/Hours:

Primarily 9:00 AM to 6:00

PM Desired Qualifications:

Approximately 2 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred Proficiency with PrimeRX software advantageous Ability to serve diverse patient populations with professionalism and care Strong knowledge of retail pharmacy operations and medication dispensing Comfortable with floating between multiple pharmacy locations as needed
