Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist - Retail Job Type Per Diem A per diem opportunity is available to provide full-week coverage as a staff pharmacist at a managed pharmacy supporting a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and 340B program. This role involves working in a retail/community pharmacy environment with robust technician support.
Location:
Keokuk, Iowa - situated in the southeastern corner of the state along the river near the Illinois border.
Schedule:
Monday, June 22 through Friday, June 29 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a 1-hour lunch
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee opening and closing procedures Dispense medications accurately and counsel patients Ensure compliance with 340B program guidelines as applicable Utilize Datascan by WinPharm pharmacy system for daily operations
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Active Iowa pharmacy license required Experience in retail or community pharmacy settings required Supervisory experience with pharmacy technicians preferred Previous 340B program experience highly preferred but not mandatory Capability to manage a pharmacy with strong technician support effectively This position is traveler pre-approved, providing a great opportunity for pharmacists who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards for patient care.
