Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist - Retail Job Type Per Diem A pharmacy management organization is seeking a staffed pharmacist for per diem coverage at a managed pharmacy location. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide full-week coverage in a community setting supported by a strong pharmacy technician team.
Location:
Keokuk, Iowa (near the Illinois state line)
Dates of Coverage:
Monday, June 22 through Friday, June 29
Hours:
8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a 1-hour lunch break
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care within a retail/community pharmacy environment Lead daily operations including opening and closing procedures Supervise and collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians Ensure compliance with all pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Utilize the Datascan by WinPharm system for pharmacy management Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Current Iowa pharmacist license Experience in retail/community pharmacy practice Proven ability to open and close pharmacies and supervise technician staff Previous experience with 340B programs is highly preferred, though not mandatory Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently within a team-oriented setting This per diem opportunity provides flexible coverage and is ideal for pharmacists authorized to practice in Iowa who have previous retail and supervisory experience. Travelers are pre-approved for this assignment. Support is provided by an established pharmacy management organization that specializes in
