Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist - Retail Job Type Contract This contract position is for a licensed pharmacist with retail experience to support a community pharmacy in Indiana. The role involves ensuring accurate prescription processing and maintaining pharmacy security in a professional retail setting. Location Winamac, IN (Local candidates preferred) Business casual dress code Schedule 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM Every other Saturday coverage, 9 AM to 6 PM Three days of orientation/training required before starting Responsibilities Accurately fill prescription orders and verify technician-prepared products before release Maintain security and control of pharmacy stock and controlled substances Enter orders and patient information accurately using the pharmacy's order entry system Qualifications and Skills Licensed Pharmacist in Indiana Experience working in a retail pharmacy environment Familiarity with PioneerRx order entry system preferred Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills This contract opportunity will begin on June 29th and continue on an ongoing basis until a permanent pharmacist is hired.
