Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist - Retail Job Type Contract This opportunity is for a licensed pharmacist to provide professional retail pharmacy services at a community pharmacy setting in Knox, IN. This is a contract role designed to deliver essential staff coverage from June 29th and continue until a permanent hire is made. The position requires meticulous attention to detail and strict adherence to pharmacy protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately fill medication orders and verify technician-prepared products before dispensing Ensure security and proper handling of pharmacy inventory and controlled substances Enter orders and patient information into the pharmacy system with precision Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain efficient daily operations
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Indiana pharmacist license is mandatory Substantial experience in retail pharmacy settings Proficiency with PioneerRx software is preferred for order entry tasks Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality
Schedule Details:
Full-time, 40 hours per week Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Every other Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Three days of onsite training/orientation required before official start
