Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist - Retail Job Type Contract A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for an Indiana Licensed Pharmacist to support a community pharmacy setting. This contract role offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week with a structured Monday through Friday shift and alternating Saturday coverage, providing a consistent, manageable routine.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately fill prescription orders and verify technician-prepared products prior to release. Ensure security and proper handling of pharmacy inventory, including controlled substances. Enter patient information and medication orders with precision using the PioneerRx system. Participate in a comprehensive 3-day orientation and training program before beginning assignments.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Indiana Pharmacist license required. Prior retail pharmacy experience is essential to effectively manage workflow and patient interactions. Familiarity with PioneerRx order entry system preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining pharmacy security. Local candidates only due to onsite training and work requirements.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Every other Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Business casual attire is expected, supporting a professional environment. This ongoing contract position begins on June 29th and continues until a permanent pharmacist is hired.
