Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist - Retail Job Type Contract A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to join a community pharmacy team in Winamac, IN. This contract position provides coverage starting June 29th and will continue until a permanent pharmacist is hired. Responsibilities include accurately filling and verifying technician-prepared prescriptions, maintaining the security of the pharmacy and controlled substances, and entering orders and patient information with precision. Experience with the PioneerRx order entry system is preferred to ensure efficient workflow. The position requires retail pharmacy experience and offers a schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., plus every other Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. A three-day training and orientation period is mandatory before beginning the assignment. Local candidates are preferred due to the nature of the facility. Expect a professional but comfortable business casual dress code in this retail setting. Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist in Indiana Retail pharmacy experience Proficiency or familiarity with PioneerRx preferred Ability to maintain attention to detail and accuracy under busy conditions Commitment to upholding pharmacy security and regulatory standards
Schedule:
