The facility includes a 25-bed critical access hospital alongside an 18-bed skilled nursing facility, offering a dynamic and rewarding environment to apply pharmacy leadership skills.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM This 13-week contract position is available immediately, with potential for transition to a permanent role. The hospital operates with Cerner and MedDispense systems, requiring familiarity for efficient workflow management.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and perform medication order verifications to ensure accuracy and compliance Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care Manage pharmacy operations within the hospital and skilled nursing facility settings Provide guidance and training to pharmacy staff as needed Ensure adherence to hospital policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards Participate in strategic planning and quality improvement initiatives related to pharmaceutical services

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
