Category Pharmacy-Director of Pharmacy Job Type Contract An immediate opening is available for an Interim Pharmacy Manager/Director position within a hospital setting located in Boston, MA. This contract role is expected to last 3+ months, with a prompt start date. The ideal candidate will possess hospital pharmacy leadership experience and be prepared to manage inpatient pharmacy operations, including staffing responsibilities as needed.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of inpatient pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Manage pharmacy staff scheduling, recruitment, and staffing to maintain optimal department functionality. Collaborate with medical and administrative teams to enhance pharmacy services and patient care. Ensure accurate medication dispensing, inventory control, and quality assurance in the inpatient setting. Provide leadership and direction to pharmacy personnel, fostering professional development and teamwork.
Qualifications:
Must hold an active Massachusetts pharmacy license. Proven experience in hospital pharmacy management, particularly inpatient services. Demonstrated ability to lead and staff pharmacy teams effectively. Strong references required; preference given to candidates who have previously worked with the staffing agency. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
