DIRECTOR, PHARMACY OPERATIONS
Catalyst Rx, a HealthExtras Company (NASDAQ:
HLEX), is an aggressively growing, full-service Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) company, providing benefits to over 4 million members nationwide. Our services include the development and implementation of pharmacy benefit programs, comprehensive pharmacy network management, formulary management, and drug utilization analysis. As a result of our growth and the creation of a Financial Business Operations Department, we are seeking a Director of Pharmacy Operations to develop and execute the organization's pharmacy operational objectives, including revenue maximization and business reporting initiatives.Responsibities include directing and developing the Pharmacy Analytics, Operations Development, and Pharmacy & Client Audit teams; process and system development; product costing, including impact and forecasting analyses; profit optimization initiatives; research and analysis; data management; development of management reporting; development of presentations, departmental polices and procedures, and training manuals;and special projects and ad hoc reporting.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or science related discipline, Masters or advanced degree preferred (i.e., MBA, PharmD), Pharmaceutical related degree or experience preferred, and 6+ years of related work experience. Must have proven quantitative experience and project management, demonstrated intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access (e.g., ability to process large datasets with complex logic), and strong decision-making, communication, presentation, and project management skills. Must be analytical, detail-oriented, and able to simultaneously manage multiple large, complex projects and effectively work in team environment. Pharmacy Benefit Management, pharmaceutical or healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
