Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A pharmacy opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a specialty pharmacy setting. This role involves a dynamic mix of retail and long-term care responsibilities, ensuring the delivery of quality medication management services to diverse patient populations.

8:30 am - 5:30 pm Rotating weekends
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in both retail and long-term care settings Counsel patients on proper medication usage and potential side effects Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care plans Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations Manage pharmacy inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals
Desired Qualifications:
Active Minnesota pharmacist license Recent experience in pharmacist roles, preferably with exposure to both retail and long-term care environments Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to delivering excellent patient care and adhering to safety protocols This contract position offers the chance to work in a supportive specialty pharmacy environment with a well-structured schedule that balances weekday hours and occasional weekends.
